Do you use genuine Tesla parts?

We use genuine Tesla parts and high-quality OEM alternatives depending on the service. We always discuss parts options with you before proceeding and ensure all components meet or exceed Tesla's quality standards.

Can you perform Tesla software updates and MCU upgrades?

Yes, we offer Tesla software updates, system configuration, and MCU (Media Control Unit) upgrades. Our software service starts from €99. We can upgrade older MCU1 systems to MCU2 for improved performance and features.

What Tesla battery services do you offer?

We provide comprehensive battery services including health checks (from €140 + VAT), battery conditioning, coolant replacement, and high-voltage battery module replacement (price after inspection). Our diagnostics can identify issues early to extend battery life.

How does Tesla autopilot calibration work?

Autopilot calibration involves precisely aligning the cameras and sensors used by Tesla's driver assistance systems. This is needed after windshield replacement, camera replacement, or if you notice autopilot performance issues. Our calibration service starts from €199.

Do you handle Tesla body and paint repairs?

Our computer diagnostics (from €70 + VAT) include a full scan of all vehicle systems using Tesla-specific diagnostic tools, reading and clearing fault codes, checking battery health, and providing a detailed report with recommended actions.

Do you handle urgent repairs?

Yes. During business hours (Mon–Fri 08:00–18:00) we prioritise urgent repairs and fix them the same day when possible. Call +371 26017268 and we will coordinate towing to our workshop. Calls outside business hours are handled first thing the next working day.

Do you work with insurance companies for accident or body repairs?

Yes. We accept insurance jobs from all major Latvian and Baltic insurers — including BTA, Balta, If, Gjensidige, Compensa and ERGO — and we can coordinate the claim, paperwork and direct billing with your insurer. Bring the claim number and your case manager's contact when you visit and we will handle the rest.

Are you a Tesla Approved Body Shop?

No. OX Works is an independent Tesla and EV specialist, not an officially approved Tesla Body Shop. We use genuine Tesla parts and OEM-grade alternatives, follow Tesla service procedures, and provide a professional warranty on all bodywork — but if your insurance or warranty specifically requires a Tesla-approved facility, please confirm with your insurer first.
